Meet our two boys, Christopher and Nicholas. From the time they were born until now, they have loved on and tended to every animal that we’ve been blessed to have grace our little farm and never…well, almost never…hesitate to help with the chores.
They have faith in God, believe good will always triumph over evil, and know who and Whose they are. They know how to work the ground and plant vegetable gardens and how to cook and grill up homegrown food that makes your tongue slap your face.
They’ve learned how to mend fences – on the farm and in life; build goat sheds, chicken coops and runs, and relationships; care for sick and injured critters and give without expecting anything in return. One of the most important things they’ve learned is to appreciate and be thankful for every moment God gives us to spend in this old world, knowing life is precious and far too short.
Both are making strides toward their dreams, too. Christopher is studying to become a game designer, with a Bachelor’s of Arts in Graphic Arts, with a goal to own his own graphic and game design business, where he’ll create custom designs for many different industries, specifically gaming, automobiles, planes, and helicopters. In fact, one of his first school projects was to design a table card game for 4 players, ages 7 and up. It was FUN!! With a little help from above, it’ll be hitting store shelves next year. 🙏🏼 (More to come…so stay tuned.)
Nicholas is working on earning his pilot’s license and attending school to earn his AMP, to build, repair and maintain every aspect of planes and helicopters, inside and out. His long-term goal is to own his own charter flight business and school, buying and selling planes and helicopters that bear his custom touch.
We’re so very proud of the young men they’ve become and the strong, loving, helpful, fearless men they are. They know their best will always be ‘good enough’ and that they’re more than any accomplishment they’ll achieve or failure they’ll experience, because of the love of their family and our Heavenly Father, above.
Can y’all tell we’re proud of them? Just a tad….😉🥰
